LOW-VOLTAGE CAPACITOR REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION UNITS (UKAR-0.4/10...1600 U3, U1)
Regular capacitor reactive power compensation units are designed to increase the power factor of electrical installations of industrial enterprises, distribution networks and non-industrial energy-intensive consumers.
Type of climatic execution – U3 or U1.
Normal operation of capacitor units is ensured under the following conditions:
1. Altitude above sea level – no more than 1000 m;
2. Environment – non-explosive, not containing conductive dust, aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations that reduce the parameters of the KTP to unacceptable levels;
3. Atmosphere type - II according to GOST 15150.
Condenser installations are panels of single-sided service switchboards, in which capacitors for reactive power compensation, a microprocessor reactive power regulator, and switching devices are installed.
Capacitor installations use capacitors of the LKT type manufactured by FRAKO, Germany, or ETI, Slovenia. A microprocessor reactive power regulator of the "NOVAR" type manufactured by KMB, Czech Republic, is installed as control and measurement equipment. Switching control devices that directly switch capacitors are contactors for switching reactive power compensation capacitors manufactured by ETAL.
Circuit switching and protection are performed by circuit breakers. Natural and forced ventilation is used in the installations.
Capacitor installations consist of one or two panels interconnected. The introduction into the installation is carried out by a cable or bus upwards or downwards on request.
The degree of protection of the units is IP31 - for climatic version U3, IP43 - for climatic version U1.
